Intersystems Caché & ObjectScript

This page is fully dedicated to Intersystems Caché and Objectscript. I will organize the articles in a way that anyone could get started easily. I intend however, only cover the OSX platform.

I am planing to cover subjects ranging from setting up a development environment, to advanced database programming. For more information, please refer to the official Intersystems website, or the Intersystems Community Portal.

Setting up Intersystems Caché

This section will focus on installing the package provided by Intersystems on MAC, then installing the necessary tools to start coding.

Caché ObjectScript

Caché ObjectScript is a part of the Caché database system sold by InterSystems. The language is a functional superset of the ANSI-standard MUMPSprogramming language. Since Caché is at its core a MUMPS implementation, it can run ANSI MUMPS routines with no change.
